Gourmet Magazine- Culinary Demonstrations

Sabroso was selected by Gourmet Magazine to host interactive culinary demonstrations at the Land Rover Experience Tour held at the former Astor Estate in Rhinebeck, New York.  Sabroso’s Chefs Marcia Miller and Erica Mahlkuch invited guests to try their hand at making vichyssoise and gazpacho, and then showed the enthusiastic crowd how to elevate these clas sic dishes with innovative garnishes, such as fried leeks, flying fish roe tossed in soy sauce, or with guacamole and fried tortilla strips.  The chefs hosted 16 classes over the four-day weekend that thoroughly engaged guests through hands-on participation and inspired them to innovate when they cook at home.
